En Suite Breakfast
Of course our guests want to know what we serve for breakfast. Since Marianne was young, she loved to bake and continues
to make classic and new favorites: scones with seasonal fruit, best ever cornbread (try this with the Farmer’s jelly!),
rhubarb muffins made with local organic fruit, banana bread recipe from Aunt Ruth, and other goodies inspired by seasonally
available ingredients and serendipity. Some of the best whole grain breads, pumpkin bread, poppy loaf and more are
brought in fresh from local bakers. We make and procure all items with non-aluminum baking powder, organic and
unbleached flours, and the highest quality ingredients we can find.
Fruits grown locally in season, with apples and pears from local farmers, peaches, plums, and berries when they
are the freshest. We supplement with other fruits when necessary.
We stock your refrigerator with orange juice, cranberry juice, milk, spring water, soda, cheeses, butter and
creamers. Arabica Coffee and a variety of organic and high quality teas, Granola and Cheerios round out the
continental breakfast menu which you may enjoy on your private balcony or in the comfort of your own sitting room.
Hosts place all breakfast items in your suite the night before, so you can awake and help yourself at your liesure.
Whole grain toast or warmed muffins with fresh fruit, a healthy and delicious way to start your day in our quaint
town of Jim Thorpe. No timed breakfast too early in the morning. Our Bed & Breakfast Alternative allows you to
eat in your pajamas if your wish!
